| Following an invitation by Vincero Arts Management, a South Korean organizer, the Frankfurt Symphony went on tour to South Korea from February 24th to March 1st, 2006. Being conducted by Heiko Mathias Förster the Frankfurt Symphony gave three concerts in Seoul and its surrounding areas (at the Seoul Art Center, at the Nowon Culture & Art Center and in Goyang). Together with the Frankfurt Symphony two famous Korean singers, Wonjung Kim (soprano) and Hyun-Soo Choi (baritone), as well as the Goyang City Choir known far and wide and two children’s choirs were performing at these concerts. |
